The company, which is a subsidiary of Cargotec, is responsible for the Kalmar Ottawa (formerly Ottawa Trucks NA) brand of terminal tractors, which, as of 2015, had built over 60,000 units. Ottawa Trucks was founded in 1958 in Kansas and didn’t officially become Kalmar Ottawa until years later.
