With another 270 3.5-tonne (3.9-U.S.-ton) Iveco Daily vehicles set to join Dawsongroup plc’s fleet this year, the supply chain company will have 620 Daily commercial vehicles to offer its rental and leasing customers going forward. Dawsongroup equips the Daily chassis cab models in a variety of configurations to fit varying applications. Just a few popular body choices include dropside platforms, Luton boxes, tippers, and tool pod tipper bodies.
Ready To Work
Dawsongroup says many of the new Daily vehicles will likely be used by construction and utility companies. To improve the reliability of the rented and leased vehicles, Dawsongroup specs its new Daily models with Iveco’s new manual gearbox. Iveco says the new manual gearbox offers an 18% increase in clutch durability and a 20% reduction in gear shifting effort compared to the previous model. These vehicles include a 1,154-kilogram (2,544-pound) payload capacity and 3.5-t towing capacity to haul and tow vital equipment on the jobsite. Features like Iveco Driver Pal and Telematics Connectivity Box are available to help fleet operators manage route planning, improve fuel efficiency, and connect drivers with other drivers on the route.
