NH Case has been a Schmitz Cargobull customer for 20 years and recently reaffirmed its loyalty to the brand with the purchase of a rigid refrigerated truck body, which it will couple with a MAN TGM 4x2 chassis cab model. The company will use the truck primarily to deliver fresh fish, frozen food, and other temperature-sensitive items in London; this will often entail operating in the city’s recently established Ultra-Low Emission Zone. NH Case, which has fleet of nine rigid trucks and makes roughly 75 deliveries per week, plans to keep its newest entry in operation for 10 or more years.
Durability = Uptime
“Schmitz Cargobull’s truck bodies have the best build quality on the market. We’ve used them for two decades and we’ve always been impressed by their performance,” says Tony Thick, transport manager at NH Case. “The durability helps us to maximise our uptime and maintain our full fleet capacity at all times, which is essential as we’re operating according to time-critical delivery schedules.”
More Details On The Schmitz Cargobull Truck Body
The new reefer truck body will keep its cool with the help of an under-mount Carrier Transicold Supra 850 refrigeration system, which offers temperature settings of between -20 and 2 degrees Celsius. It also takes advantage of Schmitz Cargobull’s FERROPLAST panels, which not only maximize insulation to maintain temperatures efficiency, but also have corrosion resistance, penetration resistance, and other features that make the body “less likely to sustain cosmetic damage,” the company explains. NH Case’s specific model also has an Anteo tail-lift.
