ReadyBus Limited, which is based in Slough in Berkshire, England, has purchased five new Scania coaches for use throughout Europe. The order consists of four 12.8-metre Scania Interlink HD coaches and one 12.1 Scania Touring HD coach. The Interlink models have a K 410 EB4x2 chassis, whereas the Touring model has a K 360 IB4x2 chassis. The coaches features several driver assistance solutions, including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, an advanced emergency braking system, and a reversing camera. Amenities include 53 half-leather seats, climate control, a hot drinks unit, a washroom, and Bosch audio and video equipment.
“When we were looking to expand the fleet of full-sized coaches, we contacted Scania as we’ve been fans of the company for a number of years and have a good relationship with the team,” said Matt Clayson, director of ReadyBus Limited, in a press release. “We love the product and the service from the team is always excellent, so it was win-win for us. We discussed what we wanted with Richard Lawrie and we then developed an order of vehicles that would fulfil our needs.”
